About Us
| Our Hespeler site opened in the northeast part of Cambridge and has been very successful over its four year history. The site has grown to employ three full time physiotherapists and offers massage therapy services. We are pleased to offer Pilate's instruction by Anita, our certified Pilate's instructor. Anita is a registered physiotherapist and as a result can offer a unique, progressive integration to exercises for those with chronic pain complaints. Managing partner Jay Patel uses this bright, spacious clinic to offer the residents of Hespeler convenience and excellence in orthopaedic physiotherapy. |

Jay Patel, B.Sc.(P.T.)., Registered Physiotherapist, Partner Jay is a partner at EPA Hespeler. He graduated with distinction from Western University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science (P.T.) and a mathematics degree. Jay has finished his Intermediate levels in Manual Therapy. His areas of interest are sports and orthopedic injuries. |

Carla Placido, B.Sc.(P.T.)., CAFCI, Registered Physiotherapist Carla graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Human Kinetics in 2000 and the University of Toronto in 2003; she has been with EPA since 2004. Carla has completed her Level 1 and 2 Manual Therapy courses as well as Level 3 Upper. She is fully certified in acupuncture through the AFCI. Her clinical areas of interest are the back and foot |

Carolyn Rutledge MPT, BSc. (Hons), Registered Physiotherapist
Carolyn graduated from Queen’s University in 2007 with a mathematics degree, and from The University of Western Ontario in 2009 with a Master of Physical Therapy. She has completed her Level One Manual Therapy course and plans to take the Level Two courses in 2010. Carolyn has taken the Level 1 – Part 1 acupuncture course through the AFCI.

Tamara McIver, Registered Massage Therapist Tamara has completed a 3 year Massage Therapy Diploma from Sir Sanford Fleming College. She has also completed the Ontario registration examinations in June 2006 and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). In June of 2007, Tamara also received extra training in myofascial release and a prenatal course through Trimesters massage therapy education. |

Brent Martens, C.K. Brent is an active Kinesiologist who has completed his Honours degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education in 2007. Brent brings with him experience as a personal trainer. His area of interest includes sports, shoulder injury and low back stabilization. |

Phyllis Chislett, Office Manager Phyllis joined EPA Hespeler staff in the summer of 2008. She is your contact person for booking appointment and for all billing issues. |
