About Us
| This large, bright facility opened in the south part of Georgetown in July 2005. The clinic now boasts three registered physiotherapists and one registered massage therapist. The clinic has three private treatment rooms and a fully equipped gym and offers early morning and late evening appointments to service commuters. In addition, we offer acupuncture, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, paraffin wax and sport taping and bracing services. In accordance with all EPA facilities our mission statement is to provide client centred, evidence based physiotherapy services through the use of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise. |

Meryl Da Costa, Registered Physiotherapist, Clinic Manager Meryl Da Costa is the Clinic Manager of both our Acton and Georgetown sites as well as a full-time physiotherapist. Meryl graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Over the last 8 years Meryl has worked in two of the leading Sports Medicine clinics in Ontario. She has treated a wide range of clients from semi-professional athletes to the weekend warriors. Meryl is working towards her professional certification in Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. |

Christine Filion, B.Sc.(P.T.), Registered Physiotherapist Christine graduated form the University of Ottawa's Bachelor of Sciences in Physiotherapy program in 2005. After graduation she worked in Orthopaedics and joined the Eramosa team in 2007. Christine has completed her Level 3 courses in manual therapy, her Level 1 certification in acupuncture, and her Part A McKenzie course. Christine is involved with our Osteoporosis program in Georgetown and because she is an athlete that trains year-round for triathlons, also enjoys treating sports injuries. She also provides bilingual services for Georgetown's francophone community. |

Ben Stephenson, M.Sc.(PT), M.Sc., Hons.B.Sc.(HK), Resident Physiotherapist
Ben recently graduated with his Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2009. He also completed a Masters degree in Muscle physiology and a Bachelor degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. He continues to update his physiotherapy skills by pursuing his Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy levels and plans to take the Level 1, Part 1 course in acupuncture through the AFCI this year. Ben played four seasons of varsity football while at the University of Guelph, he is an avid cyclist and has completed a bike fitting course designed specifically for physiotherapists.

Jordan Miller MSc (PT)(c), H. BSc (Kin), CSCS, Resident Physiotherapist
Jordan has a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesology from McMaster University. He is actively involved in research and will be publishing several reviews on the effectiveness of manual therapy for neck pain. He is also the co-author of an education module on injury prevention that was developed for the Coaching Association of Canada. Jordan brings with him years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach, personal trainer, and triathlete. He looks forward to building upon his past experiences by taking additional courses including manual therapy and acupuncture courses. Jordan looks forward to becoming an active member of the Georgetown community and the Eramosa team. |

Jennifer Macdonald, R.M.T.
Jennifer is the most recent addition to our clinic. She is a recent graduate from the Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington and is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jennifer strives to provide exceptional service and care in a professional manner, while encouraging clients to be proactive in their health through regular treatment, education and body awareness. Jennifer performs several techniques from General Swedish Massage, Prenatal massage, Myofascial Trigger points, Fascial work, Frictions and many other techniques to help her clients cope with their injuries, aches and pains." |

Leanne Burke, Office Administrator Leanne started with EPA in July 2006. She has a B.A. from the University of Waterloo with a minor in Gerontology. She also graduated with honors from the Physiotherapy Assistant Program at Humber college. Leanne can help you with respect to billing, accounts payable/receivables and car insurance/WSIB inquires. |

Lindsay Martin, Receptionist Lindsay is a recent addition to EPA. She graduated with honors from the Medical Office Administrator program at CDI college, She can be found working evenings and is your contact person for booking appointments as well as all billing inquiries with regards to WSIB. |
