
Robin graduated from McMaster's Bachelor of Sciences program in physiotherapy in 1998. He has completed numerous post-graduate courses of the orthopaedic division specific to treatment of the spine and extremities. He has received a Diploma in sport physiotherapy in 2004, the highest such level attainable through Sport Physiotherapy Canada. Robin has extensive experience and knowledge in on-field management of sport injuries and specific sport biomechanics. In addition, Robin has completed the Level 1 Part 2a/3a acupuncture courses through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. His personal interests include assisting in the clinical education program at McMaster University, completion of the Part A and B orthopaedic exams and medical team coverage at the regional and national levels. Robin will now be seeing patients at the University of Guelph's Health and Performance Center.
Meryl De Costa will be taking over as Clinic Manager and full time physiotherapist. Meryl graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Over the last 8 years Meryl has worked in two of the leading Sports Medicine clinics in Ontario. She has treated a wide range of clients from semi-professional athletes to the weekend warriors. Meryl is working towards her professional certification in Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She will be joining us from The Sports Medicine Specialist and will be seeing patients at both the Acton and Georgetown locations.
Cindy graduated from the University of Western Ontario's
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002. She has
since worked in Orthopaedic clinics, and joined the
Georgetown practice in February of 2006. She has completed her Level 2 lower manual therapy course and her level 1 Acupuncture through the A.F.C.I. Cindy is now working at the Acton clinic as opposed to the Georgetown clinic where she was before giving birth to twins!
Lori is a graduate of Canadian Therapeutic College, completing a dual diploma in Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy. Loriuses Swedish massage techniques and offers deep tissue treatments. She also has over 15 years of Personal Training experience. She looks forward to helping you with your therapeutic needs
Charlotte has been a valued team player of EPA's Acton site since 2003. She can be found taking care of the books and is your contact person with regards to billing inquires, booking appointments, and insurance issues.
Wendy joined the Acton site in January of 2005 and is your contact person for booking appointments. Also, all billing inquiries with regards to WSIB may also be directed to Wendy.
